Water polo is a team sport. Are you going to be there?
Water polo players are also know to travel. Who is going for these road trips?
We are pushing for better use of a RSVP system games. We do need RSVPs for events and that's unfolding here. Fee collection is possible, but not yet implemented.
Past Summers
Each summer, a number of players like to go to Ohio to play in the Quarry Scramble. Individuals can go as players are put onto teams.
College Guests at Settlers Cabin
In the summer of 2023, a number of college players joined on our Sunday morning practices at Settlers Cabin, an Allegheny County facility.
Game Day at Highland Park Pool
Two different summer tournaments were held at Highland Park Pool. Teams from W&J, Michigan State, Mercyhurst, PSU, Salem, Gannon and, of course, the Renegades, played outdoor water polo. These happened the week after Labor Day weekend.
Game Days at North Park Pool
Some years ago, Renegades had teams play at North Park in events organized by North Allegheny Tigers, club team. These events generally happened in August.
Recent Past Winter Travel
Some players from Pittsburgh went to Ocala, Florida, to play in a weekend tournament with Sarasota's squad in the winter of 2024. This came only a week after another side formed to play in Cleveland.
